Kathleen Opperman

Kathleen Opperman has been practicing injury law for over 30 years.

She joined Montlick in 1994 as a personal injury attorney. She has been one of the firm’s managing attorneys for many years. Prior to her law career, Kathleen was a registered nurse for over ten years. These years as a nurse gave Kathleen a deep and personal understanding of the difficulties that injured people face. This experience inspired Kathleen to pursue her law degree and enter the personal injury field.

Today, Kathleen is motivated by her passion for helping others attain equal access to justice. She prides herself on her ability to listen carefully to her clients and to get optimal results for them, even in the toughest of cases. In challenging situations, she lives by this motto: “You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”

Kathleen has a very diverse professional and legal background. In addition to her time at Montlick, Kathleen was a solicitor for five years in New South Wales, Australia and is currently licensed in Georgia, New Jersey, and New York.

Kathleen currently resides in West Georgia and has two sons. When she is not practicing law, Kathleen can often be found with a good book in hand – as a member of two book groups, she’s an old-fashioned book lover at heart.
