Craig William LaChanse, Esq.

Craig William LaChanse is a dedicated personal injury attorney who brings insurance-industry experience to the people he represents. Before becoming an attorney, he worked for two of the nation’s largest insurance companies, giving him an inside view of how claims are evaluated and handled. Craig now uses that knowledge to help clients on the other side of the claim. Licensed in Georgia since 2010, he is also admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals, of Georgia, the Supreme Court of Georgia and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

Prior to joining Montlick in 2013, Craig built a background in business and finance. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia before entering the insurance industry. His experience there sparked a deeper interest in justice and accountability, and he returned to school to earn his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law in 2010.

Today, Craig focuses his practice on representing people in a range of personal injury matters. He knows the claims process can feel unfamiliar and frustrating, especially for someone still coping with the effects of an accident. Because he has seen how insurance investigators investigate claims, weigh damages, and approach settlement, he can help guide clients through each step.

Craig is driven by a firm belief that insurance companies should be held accountable when they wrongfully deny, delay, or underpay valid claims. He knows not every dispute amounts to bad faith, but he pays close attention to how a claim has been handled and is quick to identify conduct that may warrant a closer look. Clients appreciate Craig’s patience and understanding, along with his steady commitment to standing up for what is right. He recognizes that every client’s circumstances are different, and he works to give them clear guidance as their claim moves forward.

Craig was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and moved to Atlanta with his family when he was eight years old. He has called Georgia home ever since. Outside the office, he is a devoted Georgia Bulldogs football fan and an avid mountain biker, golfer, and cook. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their two golden retrievers, Mr. Pickles & Gidget.
