Tragic, Fatal Motorcycle Accident Tragically Killed in a Weekend Collision in Port St. Lucie, Florida
PORT ST. LUCIE, FLORIDA - A news report posted on tcpalm.com reports that a 23-year-old motorcyclist traically died in a accident on Southwest Port St. Lucie Boulevard, just west of Florida's Turnpike in Port St. Lucie, Florida.*
According to a Port St. Lucie police spokesperson, the accident occurred at approximately 6:30 PM. Sergeant Keith Boham reported that the accident occurred along Southwest Dalton Circle and Southwest Port St. Lucie Boulevard.
Sergeant Boham stated that the motorcyclist, a 23-year-old man, was heading northbound along Southwest Port St. Lucie Boulevard on a 2004 Suzuki. Just prior to the crash, a man heading south in his Chevrolet HHR along Southwest Port St. Lucie Boulevard turned left onto Southwest Dalton Circle. The motorcyclist then crashed into the passenger side of the Chevrolet HHR and the the Chevrolet HHR overturned, Boham stated.
The motorcyclist, whose name was made public, tragcially died at the accident scene.
The Chevrolet's driver was transported to a local area hospital with non-life-threatening accident-injuries.
Sergeant Boham stated that the investigation is ongoing.
