At Montlick , we believe in the power of collaboration to bring about positive change in our schools and our communities. That’s why we’re pleased to sponsor Commitment 2 Education, a unique partnership with WSB-TV Channel 2 and the Teach on Project, formerly the Atlanta Families’ Awards for Excellence in Education (AFAEE).
The Teach on Project’s mission is to identify excellent educators across Metro Atlanta, and to help them expand their impact through public recognition and financial support.
To win, each individual must go through a rigorous application process and demonstrate excellence in three areas: 1) increasing student achievement 2) enhancing student self-esteem and 3) effective collaboration with community stakeholders for the benefit of the students.
In addition to the prestigious honor, each winner receives $7,500 from the Teach on Project. Portions of each monetary award go towards: 1) supporting a special school project of the winner’s choice 2) funding a professional development opportunity to increase the winner’s effectiveness in the school or classroom and 3) a personal stipend for each winner.

The 2021 Teach on Project Awards were given to 8 educators from 4 school districts.
