Running the Rainbow for Abby

Montlick Injury Attorneys is proud to sponsor the annual Rainbow Run benefiting Abby’s Angels Foundation, founded in memory of Abby Bacho, who tragically lost her life at age 9 due to a distracted driver. Today, the foundation carries forward Abby’s legacy through teen safe driving education, organ donation awareness, scholarships, and community programs across Georgia.

Supporting Safer Roads and Stronger Communities

How one Georgia family transformed unimaginable loss into a lasting legacy of safety, service, and hope.

In December 2012, the Bacho family was driving through their community to see holiday lights when they were struck in a devastating crash caused by a distracted teen driver. Nine-year-old Abby Bacho later passed away from her injuries, but her legacy continues to save and uplift others.

Through organ donation, Abby gave the gift of life to recipients in need. And through Abby’s Angels Foundation, her family continues her impact by providing school supplies to children, supporting teen safe driving education, awarding college scholarships, and raising awareness about the importance of organ donation.

Abby’s legacy also helped change Georgia law. Her mother, Natalie Bacho, became a powerful advocate for safer roads, turning her family’s tragedy into action. Montlick was proud to stand beside Natalie as her story helped lead to the Hands-Free Georgia Act becoming law in 2018, prohibiting drivers from holding or using cell phones while driving.

Today, Abby’s Angels Foundation continues to honor Abby’s life by helping protect Georgia drivers, supporting young people, and making a meaningful difference throughout the community.

Montlick Injury Attorneys are proud sponsors of the annual Rainbow Run benefiting Abby’s Angels Foundation. Our sponsorship reflects our commitment to continuing Abby’s legacy of hope, awareness, and community impact.
