Georgia Motorcycle Accident Attorney Montlick & Associates continues to support the Governor's Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) as they promote their "Look Twice Save a Life" campaign. View the video above to learn more about the campaign that reminds motorists to be more alert and to share the road safely with motorcyclists, and for important safety tips for motorcyclists. Motorcycles are by nature more difficult to maneuver than cars, so the Georgia GOHS, strongly encourages all bikers to get certified training, and to visit the Georgia Department of Driver Services website or to call them at (404) 657-9300] for a list of available courses.
According to the GOHS, every motorcycle rider must have a motorcycle endorsement on their driver's license and drive a properly registered and licensed motorcycle. To increase their visibility, the GOHS also recommends that motorcycle riders wear brightly colored protective gear and that they use hand signals in addition to motorcycle signals when turning to help draw more attention to themselves.
