Rainbow Run Sponsorship
In April, we sponsored the 10th Annual Rainbow Run in support of Abby’s Angels Foundation. Held in memory of 9-year-old Abby Bacho, the event raises awareness about the dangers of distracted driving and supports families affected by similar tragedies.

Service Dog Sponsorships
We were honored to sponsor the training of a new service dog for military veteran Kerrie Porter through Top Dogg K9 Foundation after her first service dog was tragically killed. Introducing Kerrie to Hayden, her new companion animal, was a moment of hope and healing. We also sponsored a Veterans Day Telethon benefiting the Top Dogg K9 Foundation, helping raise more than $110,000 to support the training of service dogs for veterans. During the event, hosted by 11 Alive’s Kaitlyn Ross, we announced that Montlick will also fund the training of an additional service dog, continuing our commitment to those who have bravely served.

High 5 for Teachers
For more than a decade, we’ve partnered with Fox 5 Atlanta to recognize exceptional educators. In May, Apalachee High School math teacher and assistant basketball coach Valerie Lancaster received a $2,500 award for her school as our 2025 High 5 for Teachers winner, celebrating her dedication to her students and community.

In May, we joined WSB-TV to honor two outstanding Georgia student-athletes as Athletes of the Year. These awards are the culmination of our Athlete of the Week awards, which recognize outstanding athletes at Atlanta-area high schools. For the 2024–2025 school year, the awards went to basketball standout Caleb Wilson and softball phenom Logan Currie, both recognized for their talent, dedication, and sportsmanship.

In August, we proudly announced the winners of our 2025 Most Deserving Military Family Contest. Each year, this contest grants a dream vacation to a military family who has given so much in service to our country. This year’s honorees were veterans Maria and Cody Taylor of Covington, who have served a combined 13 years across Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria.

On a Saturday afternoon in September, we joined Girls Inc. and V103 to support the Fall Into Wellness event – a day designed to empower children and families with resources for mental and physical well-being. Families connected with wellness services, tools, and activities in a supportive and fun environment. We also partnered with V103 to hand out wellness kits in October’s Girls Inc Trunk or Treat event.

Also in September, we worked with Safe Kids Cobb & Douglas Counties and Ed Voyles Honda to host the iRideSafe Car Seat Check. Our team joined Safe Kids in helping keep Georgia’s youngest passengers safe by providing car seat inspections, distributing free car seats, and sharing copies of Frankie & Fitz, written by Jenny Harty, Montlick’s Director of Community Relations & iRideSafe.

In October, in partnership with WTVM, we sponsored our annual Dream Room Makeover, a complete bedroom makeover for a deserving military child. This year the makeover went to Haylee Snow of Phenix City, Alabama, the daughter of a US Army member. Haylee received a complete bedroom makeover that transformed her room with new furniture, paint, and decor that matched her interests.

November marked the launch of a new community initiative. In celebration of Montlick’s 40 years serving Atlanta, we partnered with FOX 5 Atlanta and The Portia Show to award $40,000 in 40 For The Future scholarships to seven students currently attending Georgia HBCUs – an investment in young leaders who are shaping our shared future.

And of course, this month we continue our cherished KISS Wish partnership with KISS FM. Together, we’ll be wrapping and delivering holiday gifts to military families and sponsoring a special day for them at the Georgia Aquarium, spreading joy to those who serve during the holiday season.

With deep gratitude for those we serve, we look toward 2026 and the chance to continue making a meaningful difference for Georgia’s families.
