Montlick Injury Attorneys is celebrating 40 years of service to our community by awarding $40,000 in scholarships to seven students currently enrolled in an Historically Black College or University in Georgia. Congratulations to our finalists, who will each receive a check for $5000, and to our grand prize winner, who will receive an additional $5000.
Representation Matters
While 13% of Americans are African-American, only 5% of lawyers are Black. At Montlick, we know that representation in our legal system matters. When judges, attorneys, and jurors reflect the communities they serve, they bring a broader range of life experiences and perspectives to the table. That’s why, as part of our celebration of 40 years serving Georgia, our firm is providing funding and opportunities for African American students attending Georgia’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Supporting HBCUs is a powerful way to invest in equality, opportunity, and the future of our communities.
By supporting HBCU students, we’re not only helping to ensure that they have the chance to reach their full potential. We know that when HBCUs thrive, communities thrive too – because their graduates go on to make lasting contributions in law, medicine, education, and beyond. At Montlick, we’re proud to stand behind institutions that embody equality, excellence, and the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to make a difference.
