If your driver causes the accident, you could have an accident claim against him or her.

Some states require that rideshare companies operating in the state have a minimum insurance policy for personal injury or property damage per occurrence and must also provide uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage of at least one million per incident. Accordingly, you can seek compensation from your driver and the ridesharing company to obtain coverage for your medical expenses, lost wages and more.
