Sarah Neeland, Esq., is a personal injury attorney with a passionate determination and commitment to helping clients through tough situations by employing compassion and creative solutions. Licensed in Georgia since 2014, Sarah joined Montlick in 2015, where she was drawn to the firm’s devotion to helping people through some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Sarah is admitted to practice in all Georgia state and superior courts as well as the federal U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
Throughout her career, Sarah has earned a reputation as a fearless advocate for her clients. While she has helped recover millions of dollars in compensation on their behalf, she takes the greatest pride in finding creative solutions and maximizing her clients’ recoveries through perseverance, hard work and strategic thinking. Known for her attention to detail and comprehensive understanding of insurance coverage, Sarah consistently identifies every available policy and benefit to maximize recoveries and strengthen her clients’ financial security after an injury. Her approach is both analytical and empathetic – focused on exploring every opportunity to help her clients rebuild with dignity and confidence. Her litigation experience in Georgia state and federal courts has strengthened her ability to manage complex cases, navigate procedural challenges, and advocate effectively for her clients at every stage of the process.
Her work centers on helping clients overcome difficult challenges—whether managing extensive medical bills, navigating limited insurance coverage, or holding negligent parties accountable. Her goal is always the same: to help every client pursue the justice and compensation they deserve under the law.
As a forward-thinker with a focused eye not only on outcomes, but the challenges along the way, Sarah draws inspiration from a Robert Frost quote: “The best way out is always through.” That mindset—persevering with purpose and compassion—guides the way she represents her clients and supports them through life’s most difficult seasons.
Inspired by her attorney father, whose example instilled in her a lifelong commitment to fairness and the importance of standing up for what is right, Sarah has carried those values into every aspect of her career. They continue to shape her approach to advocacy: never back down when justice is at stake and always act with integrity.
Sarah takes pride in her ability to connect directly with clients from all walks of life. She believes in listening first, communicating clearly, and ensuring that every person she represents feels heard and respected throughout the process. For Sarah, the most rewarding part of her work is seeing clients move forward knowing their voices were heard and their rights protected.
An active member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA), Sarah is deeply committed to promoting professionalism and access to justice within the legal community. She believes in the power of collaboration and continued learning to strengthen the practice of personal injury law and better serve her clients.
Sarah earned her law degree from Tulane University School of Law, where she served on the Moot Court Board and worked in the Juvenile Law Clinic. During law school, she also interned with the ACLU of Georgia, the Barton Child Law and Policy Center at Emory University School of Law, and the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’s Office. Before law school, she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Journalism from the University of Georgia, graduating through the UGA Honors Program in 2011.
A lifelong Georgia resident, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children and the family’s dogs while exploring local coffee shops, parks and visiting farmers markets together. Her commitment to family, fairness, and community mirrors the same compassion and determination she brings to every case at Montlick.
