Litigation Managing Attorney: Personal Injury

We are seeking a Litigation Managing Attorney for Personal Injury cases to join our Atlanta office.  Excellent financial opportunity.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide leadership and oversee cases in litigation handled by co-counsel.
    • Reviews cases sent to the Quality Control section of the firm for viability of litigation on particular files.
    • Determine to which co-counsel case will be sent.
    • Review cases in litigation with co-counsel as well as in house counsel. Consult with them to ensure cases are effectively managed and progress on a timely basis.
  1. Consult with Firm clients and work in collaboration with co-counsel to resolve issues related to cases in litigation.
    • Handle client calls regarding case matters needing attorney involvement.
    • Meet in-person or by Zoom with clients and/or co-counsel to resolve concerns.
  1. Assists and backs up Senior Managing Attorney with day-to-day operation of Firm on an as needed basis.
  2. Liaison with Managing Attorney in charge of In-House Litigation to assure quality service to clients as well to help mentor in-house attorneys concerning their own cases in litigation.
  3. Has executive responsibility for mature system monitoring statutes of limitations for both in-house attorneys and outside co-counsel. Ensure all attorneys file suit to protect the statute of limitations.
  4. Manage and resolve outstanding issues related to cases handled by prior Firm attorneys.
  5. Work with CEO and/or Senior Managing Attorney on:
    • Developing policies and procedures related to the Quality Control department.
    • Identify and help solve problems.
    • Improve letters and correspondence.
    • Annual Professional Liability Insurance renewal.

Legal Support Manager

The Legal Support Manager will oversee and assist legal support teams in the performance of their job duties such as responding to clients, resolving client issues, effective case work and evaluating job performance.

This position reports to upper management.

Responsibilities:

  • Trains new staff.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provides day-to-day guidance.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Help to resolve day-to-day issues.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

High school Degree or higher.

Legal Assistant

The Legal Assistant will assist in the management of cases and provide a broad spectrum of  services to our clients.

This position reports to assigned attorney and legal support managers.

Education and Experience:

We will train the right candidate in all job duties.

Law Clerk

The Law Clerk will assist in the management of cases and provide a broad spectrum of  services to our clients.

This position reports to the assigned attorney and Legal Support Managers

Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant will assist in providing a broad spectrum of  behind the scenes support to our staff for the management of cases.

This position reports to Legal Support Managers.

Education and Experience:
