Sara Root

Advocating for justice for my clients in need and getting them the results they deserve is very rewarding.

Since 2008, Sara Root has put her extensive knowledge of the law to use to smoothly guide her clients through complex legal situations.

A hard-working and committed advocate for clients, she is effective at solving difficult problems with compassion and empathy. Sara is also extremely passionate about educating the public on the damaging effects of tort reform and the importance of our right to a trial by jury. She is an assertive and tenacious litigator, having resolved many large cases, including a recent one for over 4 million dollars.

Sara was inspired to become a lawyer at a young age after hearing an attorney speak at her 6th grade “career day.” She stayed in her home state of Michigan to attend Michigan State University where she earned her undergraduate degree and her Juris Doctor law degree with a concentration in Health Law.

When she is not advocating for her clients, Sara loves helping out in the community. She speaks publicly on behalf of Montlick to educate high school students and their parents on the serious responsibilities of driving. She also enjoys volunteering at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) through the Georgia State Bar Association, where she loves nurturing and comforting hospitalized children, doing activities such as arts and crafts, helping them make holiday gifts for their family members, and other recreational activities.
