Kim Jacobsen is a seasoned attorney in the Quality Control Section of the firm. As a fierce advocate, Kim cares deeply about her clients and getting them the results they deserve. She treats every client like a member of her family, with compassion, dignity and respect. Kim fights hard every day to deliver not only the best legal services and results, but also to help ease her clients’ stress during very difficult times. She strives to practice law with genuine kindness, knowing that small acts of kindness and words of encouragement can make someone’s day.
In 2016 Kim was appointed by the Georgia Supreme Court to the State Bar of Georgia’s Transition into Law Practice Program serving as a mentor for newly admitted lawyers.
Growing up in Michigan, Kim graduated from the University of Michigan, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She continued her education at Georgia State University College of Law earning her Juris Doctor.
An avid sports fan, Kim enjoys watching all levels of sports – from her young nieces and nephews, to the big leagues of professional sports teams. Kim always cheers loudest for her beloved Michigan Wolverines Football team! She is a formally trained dancer in jazz, tap, modern and hip hop. In her spare time, she can be found running, dancing, golfing, swimming, and gardening. Any time she can head to the beach, she and her husband Mike, are ready to go!
