Alan Saltzman

Alan Saltzman’s career at Montlick spans over 33 years.

From the beginning, he and David Montlick shared core values including honesty, respect, integrity, and loyalty to clients. Alan firmly believes that clients should be treated like family. His goal is that each and every lawyer in the firm deliver the same advice and counsel to their clients as they would to their own sister or brother. He is AV rated Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell which is the highest rating available for ethics and legal ability. In 2018, Alan was named a Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers Association.

Alan handles all types of personal injury cases including automobile accidents, product liability, medical malpractice and nursing home injuries. Prior to joining the firm in 1987, Alan practiced general law, gaining valuable insight into family law, wills and estates, business law, criminal law, bankruptcy as well as personal injury law. He was always drawn to personal injury law because he teaches and believes that trial lawyers are the gate keepers of corporate responsibility. For example, trial lawyers are the primary reason we all enjoy life saving innovations such as seatbelts, airbags, shoulder harnesses, softer dashboards in vehicles, safer drugs through better testing and warnings and especially safe toys for children.

Alan is past member of the Board of Directors of the Atlanta’s Children Shelter, having served from 2014 through 2020.  The Atlanta Children’s Shelter is an award-winning model program for child development and support services for homeless families striving to be self-sufficient. When he is not practicing law or helping out in the community, Alan loves spending time with his wife, four children, and grand children.
