Great services, Micheal Rubin did excellent!
Michael Rubin is a highly accomplished personal injury attorney with over 25 years of experience fighting for injured individuals. Practicing law since 1999 and licensed in both Georgia and Maryland, Michael brings a depth of experience that strengthens every case he handles. Since joining Montlick in 2000, he has built a distinguished career defined by loyalty, unwavering ethics, and a principled, long-standing commitment to securing justice for his clients. Over the course of his practice, Michael has recovered in excess of $100 million in verdicts and settlements. He is a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum, recognizing lawyers who have obtained million-dollar recoveries, and has been selected for inclusion in the National Trial Lawyers Top 100.
Widely recognized for his steady leadership and meticulous approach to litigation, Michael has successfully handled highly complex legal matters throughout the State of Georgia. Michael knows that hard work and compassion are prerequisites for success and getting clients the results they need and deserve. For Michael, the priority has always been the health and well-being of his clients. His clients appreciate his ability to explain complicated legal issues in plain English, and for always fighting hard and never giving up.
His passion to help others is deeply personal: he grew up admiring his grandfather, a respected attorney who practiced for more than 50 years and felt called to follow in his footsteps to provide compassionate legal representation to those in need.
Michael’s journey into the law began with a strong academic foundation in criminal justice. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, where he developed a lasting interest in justice and the systems that protect communities. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from New England Law in 1999, during which he published an academic paper on the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. That research experience strengthened his belief in the law as a powerful tool for justice and shaped the principled approach he brings to every case.
Michael is dedicated to giving back, both to the legal profession and to the community he serves. For many years, he has been a guest speaker at Georgia State University College of Law, where he speaks to first-year students about ethics, professionalism, and the realities of practicing law beyond the classroom. He also volunteers extensively through his church and has long been active at the Jewish Community Center, where he has coached youth soccer and basketball for many years. He is a strong believer in service, loyalty, and strengthening the communities that have shaped him.
In his free time, Michael finds joy in staying active, whether biking, running, skiing, or playing tennis, and he also enjoys hands-on home improvement projects, a hobby that mirrors the patience, precision, and care he brings to his legal work. Travel has broadened his perspective and reinforced his belief that fairness and dignity are universal values worth advocating for.
At home, Michael treasures time with his wife and three children, including two college students whose attendance at UGA and Georgia Tech has created a spirited “house divided” when cheering on the Bulldogs or the Yellow Jackets. He also continues to cheer for his alma mater as an avid Maryland Terrapins fan.
For Michael, the true measure of his career is not a single case result, it is the cumulative impact of helping people rebuild their lives when they need an advocate most. His practice continues to be guided by his loyalty to Montlick, his clients and his community.
