Lynn S. Walker, Esq.

Lynn Walker is a passionate and hardworking Georgia personal injury attorney who has devoted her career to helping others. Licensed to practice law in Georgia since 2005 and admitted to the Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, Lynn brings a rare combination of medical knowledge and extensive litigation experience to her clients’ cases. She joined Montlick Injury Attorneys in 2009, where she represents injured individuals across a wide range of personal injury matters.

Her path to personal injury litigation was shaped by 25 years as a registered nurse. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland and her Master of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University before earning her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law. Her medical training and clinical experience allow her to evaluate injuries, treatment plans, and long-term health implications with a depth of understanding that enhances her strategic approach to complex injury claims.

While in law school, Lynn worked as a Legal Nurse Consultant at a large national law firm, where she analyzed medical records and assisted attorneys in understanding intricate healthcare issues. Upon graduating, she began her legal career as an insurance defense litigator representing insurance carriers and their insured clients in personal injury claims. This experience gave her firsthand insight into how insurers evaluate liability exposure, analyze medical damages, and determine settlement authority, a perspective she now uses to advocate more effectively for injured clients.

Lynn later transitioned to representing injured individuals in personal injury litigation, where she has built extensive experience handling all aspects of the litigation process from initial case evaluation and discovery through depositions, mediations, hearings, and final resolution. She prepares each case with the thoroughness necessary for trial, strengthening her clients’ positions during negotiations and ensuring comprehensive case development. Her ability to understand complex medical issues while anticipating defense tactics allows her to approach each case with both clinical precision and strategic foresight.

Born and raised in Washington, D.C., Lynn has called Georgia home since 1990 and is proud to serve the communities where she lives and works. She volunteers at Saint Monica Church and treasures time spent with her three children and four grandchildren. She also has a love for the outdoors and enjoys hiking in the North Georgia Mountains, often bringing her camera along in hopes of capturing one of nature’s masterpieces.
