Motorcyclist killed in crash in Anderson County, South Carolina

ANDERSON COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA - An accident news article published on wspa.com states that a motorcyclist was tragically killed last Friday morning in Anderson County, South Carolina.*

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the motorcycle accident occurred at around 5:45 AM on SC Highway 81 by Masters Drive. South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers reported that a Honda Civic, Chevrolet Tahoe, and a motorcycle were heading northbound on SC Highway 81 when the motorcyclist allegedly made u-turn and was struck by the Chevy Tahoe.

The motorcyclist was tragically thrown off of his motorcycle and was struck by the Honda Civic. Tragically, the motorcyclist died at the motorcycle accident scene. The Anderson County Coroner's Office identified the motorcyclist as a 47-year-old man from Starr.

This Motorcycle accident is currently under investigation by the Anderson County Coroner's Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol. No additional information about the accident and those involved in the crash were released at this time.
