Teenager Air Evacuated to Hospital Following an ATV accident in Stephens County, South Carolina
STEPHENS COUNTY - According to an online news report posted on nowhabersham.com, a serious ATV accident in Stephens County injured a teen from Charleston, South Carolina.*
The report states that the 16-year-old boy was allegedly operating a Honda ATV "at a high rate of speed." The road he was driving on was uneven and caused the ATV to overturn, the Georgia State Patrol reported. The teen was thrown from the ATV.
The ATV crash occurred at around 5:15 PM at a private residence located on South Pond Street. Paramedics air evacuated the injured teen to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia.
