Tragic, Fatal Car Accident on Highway 34 in Kershaw County, South Carolina
KERSHAW COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA - A news report posted on wltx.com states that local law enforcement authorities have reported that one person was tragically killed in an auto accident in Kershaw County, South Carolina.*
The fatal car accident occurred on Saturday morning at around 2:40.
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol Sergeant trooper Sonny Collins, the vehicle accident occurred on Highway 34 (also known as Ridgeway Road) at Kellytown Road. Accident investigators also stated that the crash involved a Jeep that was traveling westbound on Highway 34. The Jeep then suddenly left the roadway and flew down an embankment.
The report states that the driver, who had his seatbelt on at the time of the accident and he was the only occupant in the Jeep. He tragically passed away due to the severity of his accident-related injuries.
Sergeant Collins stated that the Kershaw County Coroner's Office has all of the information regarding the victim's condition. No additional information about the accident was released to the public at this time.
