Tragic, Fatal Pedestrian Accident in Goose Creek, South Carolina

GOOSE CREEK, SOUTH CAROLINA - A news story published on counton2.com reports that the South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal pedestrian accident last Saturday night.*

The car-pedestrian collision occurred in Berkeley County, South Carolina.  

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the motor vehicle versus pedestrian accident occurred at 7:35 in the evening.  The report states that a Nissan Altima was heading northbound along Red Bank Road by Mercury Road when the vehicle struck a pedestrian who was trying to cross the road.  The victim was tragically pronounced dead at the accident scene. 

The victim's name was not yet made public. The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office may be reached for additional information when it becomes available.  The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating the tragic, fatal collision.
