Severe Motor Vehicle Accident on I-26 Eastbound in North Charleston, South Carolina

NORTH CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA - A news story published on reports that a severe car accident shut down two traffic lanes on I-26 Eastbound at Ashley Phosphate.*

According to the South Carolina Department of Transportation, the severe accident occurred last Thursday morning at around 8:30 AM.  The article reports that the accident scene was cleared enough to allow traffic to pass through at around 10 AM. 

The car accident report states that there were no immediate reports concerning injuries.  The motor vehicle accident s currently under investigation by the South Carolina Department of Transportation.  There were no reports of criminal charges filed in the incident.  The South Carolina Department of Transportation will provide additional information at a later time.
