Multi-Car Crash on Highway 28 in Oconee County, South Carolina

OCONEE COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA - A news story published on wyff4.com, a multi-car accident closed down Highway 28 in Oconee County, South Carolina.*

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol's report, the multi-vehicle accident occurred at around nine in the morning on Highway 28 at West Union Road.  

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office urged motorists to take alternative routes around the accident.  They also reported the accident location, which was on Highway 28 by Poplar Springs Road at West Union and Walhalla.  All traffic lanes were closed as law enforcement and emergency medical responders managed the accident scene.  

Law enforcement officials stated that all traffic on Highway 28 heading to Seneca-bound due to the accident.  The accident is currently under investigation by the Oconee County Sheriff's Office.
