Tragic, Fatal Car Accident on Highway 90 in Conway, South Carolina

According to South Carolina Highway Master Trooper Brian Lee, the crash transpired at around 1 PM on Highway 90 in the area of Lee Street in Conway, South Carolina. Master Trooper Lee reported that the driver of a Hyundai SUV that was moving westbound on the highway and then crossed the centerline and struck a Nissan head-on.
The occupants in both vehicles were taken to a local hospital. One of the passengers in the Hyundai tragically died of their injuries.
According to Horry County Fire Rescue (HCFR), rescue crews were called out to the severe motorcycle collision. The area was closed down as the accident was worked by law enforcement and emergency medical crews. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
