Motorcyclist Tragically Killed in Accident in Simpsonville, South Carolina

SIMPSONVILLE, SC - A news article published on states that a motorcyclist was tragically killed in a crash last Monday night.*  According to the Greenville County Coroner's Office report, the motorcyclist that was hit along East Georgia Road has been identified.  

The Greenville County Coroner's Office named the motorcyclist as a 62-year-old man from Simpsonville, South Carolina.  The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that the motorcycle accident occurred at approximately 10:10 in the evening on Monday.  

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, another motor vehicle tried to make a left turn onto Howard Drive and "failed to yield the right-of-way" and struck the motorcyclist.  The motorcyclist was wearing his motorcycle helmet but tragically died at the scene of the crash.  The motorcycle accident is currently under investigation.
