Head-on collision kills 26-year-old in Edgefield County, South Carolina

EDGEFIELD COUNTY, S.C. - A news report published on states that a 26-year-old man was tragically killed in a head-on accident with a tractor-trailer truck in Edgefield County, South Carolina.*

The fatal collision occurred at around 4 in the morning.  According to the report, a Ford Edge turned left of center while heading southbound on South Carolina Highway 121.  For some unknown reason, the Ford Edge collided with a tractor-trailer truck head-on.

The news report states that the Ford Edge driver was wearing their seat belt and tragically passed away at the accident scene, authorities reported.  The victim was identified as a 26-year-old man from Troy.

The report states that the tractor-trailer truck driver was also wearing a seatbelt and he was uninjured in the head-on collision.  The fatal head-on collision is currently under investigation.  No additional information was provided about the victims and the accident.
