CAYCE, S.C. - A news article published on wltx.com reports that the South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating an accident that tragically killed a pedestrian.*

According to Master Trooper David Jones, the fatal pedestrian collision occurred in the westbound traffic lanes of I-26 by the I-77 Northbound exit.  Master Trooper Jones reported that a Chevrolet truck was traveling westbound on I-26 when the vehicle struck a pedestrian.
