Severe Motor Vehicle Accident on I-26 in Orangeburg County

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC - A news article published on live5news.com states that the South Carolina Department of Transportation reported all traffic lanes were re-opened following a severe motor vehicle accident on I-26 in Orangeburg County, South Carolina.*

The South Carolina Department of Transportation stated that the accident occurred near Bowman. 

Law enforcement officials reported all traffic lanes were closed at around 6:30 last Sunday morning for about seven hours.  The officials stated that all traffic heading east was detoured on Vance Road from Exit 165.

The South Carolina Department of Transportation's traffic map showed I-26 was backed up for approximately 5 miles.
