Fatal Accident Closes Down I-85 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina

CABARRUS COUNTY, NC - A news story on wbtv.com reports that a fatal accident closed down Interstate 85 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, last Thursday morning.*

According to the Concord Police, one person was tragically killed in a head-on collision at around 1:00 in the morning.  The fatal accident occurred along I-85 by mile marker 55 by the Davidson Highway exit.

Interstate 85 was closed down for several hours while the accident was handled law enforcement and emergency medical services.  No additional details were released. The fatal interstate accident is currently under investigation.
