Tragically Motorcyclist Accident in Marlboro County, South Carolina

MARLBORO COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA - A news article published on wbtw.com reports that a motorcycle operator was tragically killed after colliding with a ditch in Marlboro County, South Carolina.*

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident involved a rider on a Kawasaki motorcycle.  

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol Master Trooper Brian Lee, the motorcycle accident occurred as a rider was heading westbound along Calhoun Road. Master Trooper Brian Lee stated that the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.

South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating the fatal accident.  The victim's name was not released.
