Tragic, Fatal Motorcycle Accident on White Horse Road in Greenville, South Carolina

GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA - A news article published on foxcarolina.com reports that the Greenville County Coroner's Office verified that it had identified the motorcyclist who was involved in a fatal accident on White Horse Road in Greenville County.*

According to fire crews at the accident scene, the motorcycle accident occurred at around 1:40 in the morning.  

The South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers stated that a vehicle was traveling southbound along White Horse Road and tried to turn left onto Stanford Road.  The car had the green light.  At that moment, the motorcyclist allegedly failed to yield and was struck by the vehicle.

The coroner identified the victim as a 53-year-old Greenville man.  According to the coroner, the victim did not have a helmet on during the collision.  The rider tragically died due to multiple blunt force injuries.  He was tragically pronounced deceased at the accident scene.

The motorcycle accident is currently under investigatation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers.  No names were made public.
