South Carolina Highway Patrol Troopers Responded to a Fatal Georgetown County Accident

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA - A news article published on live5news.com says that the South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating a fatal accident in Georgetown County.*

The South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers stated that the accident only involved one motor vehicle.  

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol Sargent Sonny Collins, the fatal accident occurred at approximately 3:15 Sunday.  The accident victim's truck overturned.  The driver was heading northbound along Powell Road in Georgetown County.  When the driver left the roadway, his car overturned.  Law enforcement authorities are investigating the accident.
