Two Fatal Accidents in McCormick and Orangeburg Counties in South Carolina

The fatal accident in Orangeburg County involved a motorcyclist and a Chevrolet truck. According to the news article, a motorcyclist was tragically killed in an accident at approximately 9:20 PM. The crash occurred a few miles northwest of Orangeburg, South Carolina.
The motorcycle rider was traveling eastbound along U.S. 178 on his Yamaha motorcycle. According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the biker was struck by a westbound Chevrolet truck trying to make a left-hand turn onto Lake Edisto Road. The motorcycle rider sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local area hospital, where the cyclist tragically died. The fatal motorcycle accident remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
