Lee County Tragically Passes Away Following an Accident in Lee County, South Carolina

LEE COUNTY, SC - A news report published on wltx.com states that law enforcement authorities stated that a 33-year-old man was tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Lee County, South Carolina. South Carolina Highway Patrol Master Trooper Brian Lee reported that the fatal accident occurred at around 6:30 in the morning and in the area of Teal Road and Green Lane.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol's preliminary investigation, a 33-year-old man from Lee County was traveling westbound along Green Lane when the Chevrolet pickup truck the victim was driving left the road and crashed into a ditch.

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Lee, the victim was not wearing his seatbelt and was tragically ejected from the vehicle. The Lee County Coroner's Office recorded the man's cause of death as "blunt force trauma."

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is still investigating the fatal accident.
