Two People Transported to the Hospital After a Plane Crash in Oconee County, South Carolina
OCONEE COUNTY, SC - A news report posted on wspa.com states that emergency rescue crews responded to a plane accident in Oconee County, South Carolina, last Sunday.*
The initial accident report of a plane accident by Mountain Rest came in at around 11 in the morning, according to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office. The small airplane accident site was located on Taylor Creek Road close to Highlands Highway.
According to Oconee County Emergency Management, two passengers were transported by medical helicopter to a local area hospital for treatment of several serious injuries. The accident is currently under investigation.
