Four Tragically Killed in a Severe Accident in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (SC)
MYRTLE BEACH, SC – A news story published on wbtw.com reports that Michelle McSpadden, the Horry County Deputy Coroner, announced that four people were tragically killed as a result of an accident on Harrelson Boulevard.*
The Myrtle Beach Police Department is conducting the investigation of the fatal crash that happened on Saturday morning at approximately 1:30 a.m. The victims include a 17-year-old girl from Winston-Salem, a 20-year-old man from Lake City, a 22-year-old woman from Winston-Salem, and a 23-year-old from Lake City.
According to the accident report, law enforcement officers received an emergency phone call regarding a vehicle crash on Harrelson Boulevard.
When law enforcement officers arrived at the scene of the accident, the officers found one vehicle partially submerged in a retention pond next to the roadway. According to the report, there were several victims with severe injuries.
The accident report states that several victims succembed to their injuries and a few others are being treated at a hospital.
The Myrtle Beach Police Department is currently investigating the fatal accident.
