Tragic, Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Clemson Boulevard in Anderson, South Carolina (SC)
According to an online news report published on wspa.com, a pedestrian was tragically struck and killed in Anderson, South Carolina.*
The Anderson County Coroner's Office stated that the fatal collision occurred at approximately 11:15 p.m. last Saturday. The victim, a 30-year-old man from Anderson, was struck by a Dodge Minivan heading eastbound along Clemson Boulevard. The accident occurred on Clemson Boulevard near Hurricane Road.
The victim was severely injured, and he was taken to a local area hospital for emergency medical treatment. The victim tragically succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital. The Anderson County Coroner's Office has ruled the victim's death as an accident. The Anderson County Coroner's Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing their investigation of the pedestrian accident. No criminal charges have been filed at this time.
