Tragic, Fatal Head-on Accident Tractor-trailer Truck Accident in York County, South Carolina

According to an online news report published on wcnc.com, one person has been tragically killed in a head-on accident involving a tractor-trailer truck and a passenger vehicle in York County, South Carolina.*

The South Carolina Highway Patrol stated that the fatal truck accident occurred on Friday evening at approximately 8 pm.  The fatal collision happened on highway SC 49 close to the Davis Farm Road intersection.

South Carolina Highway Patrol accident scene investigation ascertained that a Toyota was traveling southbound along highway SC 49 when the Toyota crashed head-on with a Volvo 18-wheeler tractor-trailer truck at the Davis Farm Road intersection.

The driver of the Toyota tragically passed away at the accident scene.  The tractor-trailer truck driver was not injured in the accident, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.  The news report did not disclose the names of the drivers involved in the fatal head-on collision.
