Tragic, Fatal Car Accident on SC-63 in Colleton County, South Carolina (SC)
According to an online news report published on counton2.com, the South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating a fatal accident in Colleton County, South Carolina, that killed one and put another into the hospital.*
According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident happened Sunday morning at around 1:00 a.m. The crash was located on SC-63, Sniders Highway, in Colleton County, South Carolina.
A Lincoln four-door sedan was heading northbound along SC-63 when the motor vehicle drove off the highway's right-hand side and then overturned. The passenger was ejected from the Lincoln, and he was tragically killed during the accident.
According to law enforcement officials, the driver of the Lincoln, an 18-yea-old-man, was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. The suspect was then arrested and charged with a felony DUI involving death as a result of the accident.
The fatal auto accident is currently under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
