Motor Vehicle Accident on I-95 in Dorchester County, South Carolina

According to an online news report published on counton2.com, the South Carolina Highway Patrol responded to an accident on I-95 in Dorchester County, South Carolina.*

The interstate accident occurred along I-95 Southbound about three miles North of Exit 68.  The South Carolina Highway Patrol stated that the motor vehicle accident happened at approximately 11:39 am. The interstate was backed up for a few miles, but at least one lane remained open.  The South Carolina Highway Patrol warned motorists of the traffic situation and advised drivers to avoid driving through the area, and to remain e aware of the potential delays.

The accident report did not provide details as to how many people were involved in the accident or who was injured in the accident.  The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the interstate accident.  There were not details provided about wether or not criminal charges would be filed. The vehicles were towed away and will be examined by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
