Fatal Accident in Pickens County, South Carolina (SC)
According to an online news report published on wspa.com, a man has been charged and arrested for causing a fatal accident in Pickens County, South Carolina, that killed one person.*
The Pickens County crash occurred on Saturday afternoon. The accident happened along South Carolina Hwy 183 close to Cannery road and two miles north of the town of Easley, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol states that the driver of a Ford Mustang was heading south along Highway 183. The driver had one passenger with him. The Mustang driver tried to make a left turn onto Cannery Road when the Ford Mustang was struck by a Ford Explorer, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers. The passenger in the Ford Mustang was transported to a hospital where they tragically passed away from their injuries.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the driver was charged with failure to yield at an intersection. The coroner positively identified the victim.
