Serious Car Accident at the I-526, I-26 interchange in Charleston, South Carolina
According to an online news report published on live5news.com, the South Carolina Department of Transportation stated that they were able to reopened the I-526 interchange with I-26 shortly after emergency crews worked throughout the night to clear an accident.*
The South Carolina Department of Transportation stated that the Exit 17 ramp on I-526 West toward I-26 West was closed for a few hours. The South Carolina Department of Transportation stated that tow-truck was called to the scene to remove wrecked vehicles at the accident scene.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol stated that when they responded to the accident scene, they found the truck accident involved an overturned 18-wheeler tractor-trailer.
