Motorcyclist Injured on Augusta Road in Burnettown, South Carolina (SC)

BURNETTOWN, SC- Wrdw.com writes that a crash took place this week in Burnettown that left a motorcyclist with severe injuries. The incident occurred in the late evening on Augusta Road close to its intersection with Dixie Clay Road.*

A witness to the crash found the victim on the road and helped the man with a head injury and other injuries to his body. An ambulance rushed the man to a nearby hospital. 

The victim's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

While only nineteen states have laws stating that all motorcyclists must wear a helmet, the best reason to use one is not the law, but the fact that it may prevent a tragedy.
