Second Person Tragically Dies Following Deadly Crash in Horry County, South Carolina

HORRY COUNTY, SC- Myrtlebeachonline.com writes that a tragic collision in Horry County has cost another person their life. The incident occurred late in the week during the morning on South Carolina 9 close to Camp Swamp Road. A driver operating a 2011 Kia Sorento tried to make a left turn from Camp Swamp Road when a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe struck the Kia as it was traveling northbound.* 

A passenger in the Kia, identified as an 82-year-old woman, died in the hospital the night of the crash. Reports indicated that the woman did not have her seatbelt on at the time of the incident. The driver, an 82-year-old man, passed away the following day from his injuries. The driver in the Tahoe also suffered injuries in the crash. The drivers were both wearing their seatbelts when the collision took place.
