Tragic Hit-and-Run Crash Kills One in Colleton County on Interstate 95
COLLETON COUNTY, SC- Abcnews4.com writes that a vehicle struck and killed a pedestrian on Interstate 95 late last week in Colleton County.*
The victim was reportedly walking on the south side of the road when the unidentified vehicle collided with the person. The police arrived at the scene in the morning but are not yet sure when the crash took place. The accident caused significant traffic delays throughout the day while officers worked the scene.
Reports indicate that a white Volvo VN Tractor is wanted in connection to the incident. Police stated that the vehicle, which could be from any year between 2008 and 2015, would exhibit damage to its passenger side.
Witnesses or anyone who has information regarding the truck or the crash are being asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
