Crash Kills One on Barrineau Road in Barrineau, South Carolina

BARRINEAU, SC- Theitem.com writes that a young man died in a traffic accident on Barrineau Road early in the morning over the weekend. Police identified the victim as a 23-year-old man from Lake City.*

Reports indicate that the victim was traveling alone in a 2008 GMC SUV when he veered off of the road and drove into a ditch where he struck a tree.

Reports indicate that the man did not have a seatbelt on at the time of the collision. Police say that the victim died at the scene.
