Woman Airlifted After Tractor-Trailer Crash in Spartanburg County, South Carolina
SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC. – According to an online news report posted at foxcarolina.com, a woman was airlifted to a hospital following a tractor-trailer crash that occurred on Compton Bridge Road in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. The accident happened in the afternoon in the area of Compton Bridge Road and Edwards Road. South Carolina Highway Patrol and Fox Carolina report that around 12:30 p.m., a 2007 Lexus was traveling across Compton Bridge Road and somehow collided with a 2002 Mack log truck. It is not clear what direction the Lexus or the Mack truck had been traveling when the crash occurred. The report says that the truck was not carrying a load at the time.
