Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run on Wilkinson Blvd. in Charlotte, North Carolina
CHARLOTTE, NC. – According to a news report posted online at wbtv.com, a pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run collision that occurred on Wilkinson Boulevard in Charlotte, North Carolina. The driver who struck the pedestrian is reportedly still at-large, and police officers are looking to make an arrest.*
The collision occurred sometime in the late afternoon or early evening, near Weyland Avenue on Wilkinson Boulevard. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and WBTV report that a pedestrian was attempting to cross Wilkinson in this area and was struck by a passing vehicle.
