Tragic, Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident on Highway 29 in Anderson County, South Carolina

ANDERSON COUNTY, SC - A news article published on wspa.com reports that a man was charged following a fatal motor vehicle accident last Saturday. *

The crash tragically killed one person, and the South Carolina Highway Patrol believes the accident is alcohol-related.  The driver who is allegedly responsible for the accident was charged with Felony DUI Resulting in Death. 

The fatal motor vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 29 resulted in the tragic death of a 49-year-old man from Williamston.

Police are continuing to investigate the fatal motor vehicle accident. Additional details will be released by law enforcement as the information becomes available. Highway 29 was closed for a few hours following the accident to allow law enforcement, rescue members, and clean-up crews to work the accident scene.  The fatal accident is currently under investigation.
