Teenager Tragically Dies, Three Are Injured in a Hertford County Accident

HERTFORD COUNTY, NC.  - A news report published on witn.com states that the North Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident involving a teenager and three other people.*  The report states that the teen tragically died in the accident, and three other teenagers were injured.

North Carolina Highway Patrol troopers reported the 18-year-old driver was in an accident just after 11 PM.  The vehicle crossed over the centerline, left the road, and then struck a tree.  All of the occupants and the driver were thrown from the motor vehicle.

According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol troopers, the victims, whose identities were not released, were severely injured.  The North Carolina Highway Patrol is currently investigating the motor vehicle accident.  The troopers are trying to ascertain what was the cause of the accident.
