Fatal Motorcycle Accident on the Chesnee Highway in Spartanburg County, South Carolina

SPARTANBURG, SC - A news article on reports that the South Carolina Highway Patrol stated that a man was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident along Chesnee Highway last Saturday morning.* The Spartanburg County coroner identified the driver as a 36-year-old man.  

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the victim was heading northbound along Chesnee Highway near Oak Tree Road at about 2:45 in the morning. At some point, the motorcyclist lost control of his Harley Davidson. His motorcycle then traveled off the roadway and struck several trees.

The motorcycle accident is under investigation to determine if any other vehicles were involved in the accident or caused the motorcycle accident. If you have any information about the accident, the South Carolina Highway Patrol is asking witnesses to contact them.
